ITWA NEPCON Asia @Vietnam 2026
GKG Asia, together with JTU Pte Ltd, successfully participated in ITWA NEPCON ASIA Vietnam 2026, showcasing the latest SMT printing and inspection technologies under the theme of Prevent Defect Concept toward ZERO-DEFECT Production.
The exhibition brought together industry professionals, manufacturers, and technology leaders from across the electronics manufacturing sector, providing an excellent platform for GKG Asia and JTU to demonstrate how advanced printing and inspection technologies can work together to improve production quality and reduce defect risks.
At the exhibition, GKG Asia highlighted the Ultra High-Speed & High Precision SMT Printer G-Tera, a high-precision printing solution designed to meet the increasingly demanding requirements of modern SMT production.
With printing accuracy of ±12.5 μm at 6 Sigma and Cmk > 2.0, verified through CeTaQ testing, G-Tera is engineered to deliver stable and consistent solder paste printing performance.
As the first critical process in SMT assembly, solder paste printing plays a major role in determining downstream production quality. Even a minor printing defect can potentially lead to significant losses when it progresses through subsequent processes.
G-Tera addresses this challenge by combining high-precision printing capabilities with advanced automation and process control, helping manufacturers establish a stronger foundation for defect prevention from the very beginning of the production line.
In addition to G-Tera, JTU showcased its First Article Inspection (FAI) Machine, providing an additional layer of inspection and process verification before the PCB proceeds to the next stage of production.
By combining GKG’s high-precision solder paste printing with JTU’s inspection technology, the two companies demonstrated an integrated approach to defect prevention—from accurate printing to early-stage inspection.
This collaboration represents a shared vision toward smarter and more reliable electronics manufacturing:

To make the concept more interactive, we conducted a “Find the Defect” activity during the exhibition.
Visitors were invited to identify defects from sample PCBs, demonstrating how seemingly minor abnormalities can be difficult to detect visually, yet potentially result in major production losses if they are not identified at the right stage.
The activity reinforced an important message: Defect prevention starts before the defect becomes a problem.
Rather than relying solely on downstream inspection, manufacturers can strengthen their quality control strategy by identifying and preventing potential defects at earlier stages of the production process.
ITWA NEPCON ASIA Vietnam 2026 provided GKG Asia an opportunity to connect with customers and industry professionals while introducing the latest developments in SMT printing and inspection technology.
As electronics manufacturing continues to move toward higher-density components, tighter process requirements, and greater automation, process control and early defect prevention will become increasingly important.
